Chicago Architecture Foundation Patron of the Year 2009

At the Chicago Architecture Foundation's sixth annual Patron of the Year awards, the Chicago Main Branch Riverwalk and the Chicago Department of Transportation were honored with the Patron of the Year award in the governmental category. Rausch was the General Contractor on the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial and Wabash Avenue phases of the Riverwalk.
Rausch congratulates the entire project team on this great achievement, including Ross Barney Architects, Jacobs/Ryan Associates, Collins Engineering and especially the Chicago Department of Transportation.
Cherry Avenue Bridge was also nominated in the governmental category.
The Patron of the Year awards honors corporations, institutions and organizations, by which commissioning and executing projects, significantly advances Chicago's outstanding built environment. The award celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit, vision and commitment of patrons of Chicago’s architecture.
