On February 19, 2009, at the 30th Annual Awards Banquet for the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA), Leticia Villasenor-Rausch President and Co-Founder of Rausch Construction Company, Inc., was honored with the HACIA Member of the Year Award, for her achievements in the industry as well as within HACIA. 

Rausch Construction’s achievements in the construction industry serve as inspiration for all members of the Hispanic community.  As Rausch embarks on its 25th anniversary year, it has become a formidable competitor in the Industry, completing many unique and challenging projects, and becoming a leader in Marine and Heavy Civil Construction.  Most recently, Rausch was recognized for its achievement as the City of Chicago Department of Transportation Structural Contractor of the Year.

Leticia was also very influential this year within HACIA.  She served on many of the committees such as the Scholarship, Committee, the Awards Banquet Committee, and the Golf Committee.  Leticia not only attended meetings for these committees but was active in the pursuit to spread the mission of HACIA.  Through her efforts, HACIA had outstanding turnouts for all of these events.

Founded in 1979, HACIA’s mission has been clearing paths of opportunity for minority and women owned business enterprises for over 3 decades across the Midwest.
