American Institute of Architects Distinguished Building Awards 2010

At the American Institute of Architects' 55th Annual Design Night, the Chicago Main Branch Riverwalk was awarded the "Distinguished Building Award Honor Award." Rausch Construction Company, Inc., was the general contractor for the Vietnam's Veteran Memorial and Wabash Avenue phases of the Riverwalk.
The Design Excellence Awards recognize the achievements in the following categories: Design Building Award, Divine Detail Award, Interior Architecture Award, and Unbuilt Design Award. 340 Projects were nominated in these categories and the Chicago Main Branch Riverwalk stood out amongst the competition.
